Inside Fitness magazine continues to refine itself and publish solid content. The Autumn 2008 issue features the newest IFBB Pro, Natalie Waples. Can publisher/editor Terry Frendo see the future? Good call and great timing on Terry’s part to feature Natalie as his cover model. I had the chance to meet Natalie at the North American Championships and she is not only beautiful but also a funny little lass. Congrats to Natalie on her pro card and new cover.

Jamie Eason is every where women want to be. This time around it’s on the cover of Oyxgen magazine’s September issue. Jamie has risen to modeling stardom over the past couple of years and is also sponsored by bodybuilding.com, the biggest health and fitness web site in the world. Her boyfriend is the lead singer in a band that has also found success as of late. Congratulations to Jamie on her continued success.

Thanks to Laura Johnson of POSEDOWN magazine for passing along the photo and new cover. POSEDOWN, a Texas based magazine, features IFBB Fitness Pro Trish Warren as the newest cover model. Trish has her own column in the magazine each month as well. Laura tells me Black Mamba plans on smashing the competition and did a little demonstration of her skills recently. The stunning Teresa Anthony is heating things up on and off stage. She not only qualified for the 2008 Figure Olympia at the Pittsburgh Pro but she’s also burning things up with her modeling. She’s the cover model for the June 2008 issue of Southern Muscle Plus and will be featured in an upcoming issue of FLEX magazine. Props to Teresa!

I had a chance to meet up with Khristy Poteat at the 2008 NPC Jr. Nationals, where she was competing in Figure. She’s a super sweet girl that has an All-American, buff Barbiedoll look. Khristy was looking to improve on her Charleston showing (the Jr USA) and present a slightly different look. She definitely accomplished that goal. At the JR USAs Khristy was very well conditioned, however the look was too hard and she appeared too muscular for figure. Thursday night she told me she was coming in a bit softer and had worked on her posing. I could tell in her face that she wasn’t as hard as when I saw her in Charleston. It was a good thing for her and when she took the stage it was a much, much better look. Her posing was good this time and the softened look was in line with what the judges are rewarding. Despite not placing as high as she would have liked she was in good spirits after the show. What’s next for her? She hasn’t decided but she has a great physique and you can see her on the cover of the current Southern Muscle Plus issue. Congratulations on the cover Khristy!

IFBB Pro Rosa-Marie Romero has landed her sixth cover. This time it is for Hardcore Aussie Muscle. The magazine is set to hit stands next week. This Australian beauty is the first female to land on the cover. The photo was taken by our Canadian friend Gary Phillips, location: Gold’s Gym Venice. Congrats Rosa-Marie!
