NPC Mile High & Tanji Johnson Posing Clinic
Those of you in and around the Denver/Colorado Springs, Colorado area will want to check this out. This Saturday, June 5, 2010 The NPC Max Muscle Migh High contest will take place at the Englewood High Auditorium. If you haven’t purchased tickets yet you can get them here. There’s always a few competitors that more than hold their own on the national NPC stage.
As of today there are 105 competitors in the show. As an added bonus to this weekend’s event, IFBB Fitness Pro and 2009 Ms. Olympia Fitness Runner-up, Tanji Johnson will be making an appearance. Tanji will be holding a posing clinic for figure, bikini and fitness athletes immediately after the athlete check-in, tomorrow June 4th at the Holiday Inn/Lakewood.
Tanji will also be holding a SAVE FITNESS CAMP on Sunday, June 6th in Colorado Springs.

You gotta love the twist that gets put on things related to celebrities. A recent article revolved around actress Charlize Theron carrying a box of Lean Body meal replacements. Really? That’s a story. AWESOME.
She previously said she relies on six meals a day to stay slim.
But now Charlize Theron’s true diet secrets have been revealed, after the 34-year-old actress was spotted clutching a box of meal replacement shakes.

Dianna’s Tip of the Week: PRESSURE… PRESSURE! NO BUENO!

Hello Everyone!
Hope you are having a great week! Pressure… We all have it at times but you don’t always have to. Make sure that when you are working you are always comfortable. If the media, camera man, videographer, photographer, etc., are pressuring you into doing something that you are not comfortable with then please do not do it! If you do, you will probably be disappointed, guilty, or even worse having it come back to haunt you months or even years later!
Treat your career like your baby!
I have made plenty of mistakes but I have learned from them! So take it from me! Say no if you are pressured in any way!

Gina’s Tip – Measuring Up

Are you a “topper off’er”… How well do you measure your food? Do you use a 1/2 cup but are one to go for the heaping half cup… Do you top off your tablespoon of nut butter??? Measuring your food is key to ensuring you are watching your servings size but how well do you measure??
A heaping 1/2 cup of oats compared to a measured 1/2 Cup… 1-2 meals a day, 7 days a week adds up to over 400 cals a week. That’s almost one pound in 8 weeks! Now let’s not even talk about the nut butter, which can easily add up to much more!
Be sure to watch those “heaping” servings, a little here and a little there can definitely make a difference!
