This weekend is the New Zealand Pro Figure and Bikini championships. I can understand there being few bikini competitors as it’s new, mainly consists of women from the Unites States and the trip isn’t cheap. There are a number of figure competitors outside of the United States but when I last heard there are only FOUR figure competitors in the line-up. There’s constant chatter about there not being enough shows outside of the United States yet when there is so few show up. Three out of the four women will qualify for the 2010 Figure Olympia.

Wow. Talk about having the odds stacked in one’s favor for qualifying!
And a trip worth the cost
What a shame…What a great opportunity to see a beautiful country and compete all at the same time…..J
Linda Fodor wanted to go. But there is a 30 hour trip to NZ, one way, and the price for a trip over the weekend is 3 times higher then a trip to the US. Travelling time to the US is about 14 hours one way. It is probably the same for most European girls since NZ is so far away from Europe. That is most likely the reason why there are not a big number of international competitors in NZ.
So Linda will instead do Orlando as next competition, even though it seems at least from number of competitiors to get a Olympia qualify at NZ.
