Industry Buzz: Pepsi Bottling Group to distribute Muscle Milk

This is great news for one of the industry’s top supplement companies, CytoSport. They have a number of awesome products at CytoSport and continue to grow as a company. CytoSport is often at bodybuilding and fitness show with a both sampling Muscle Milk.

Pepsi Bottling Group Inc. in Somers said that it has signed an agreement to distribute Muscle Milk in the United States and Canada starting in January. Muscle Milk, a protein-enhanced beverage manufactured by CytoSport Inc. of Benicia, Calif., “promotes lean muscle growth, fast recovery from exercise and healthy, sustained energy,” according to promotional claims. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

“Muscle Milk has established itself as one of the leading functional nutrition beverage brands, and adding it to our portfolio will enable us to capitalize on the opportunities in this exciting category,” said Rob King, president of Pepsi Bottling North America.
